We have been there and we will do it for you...
We are wedding photographer team located in Houston, TX. Our creator, Jill Goehring, who also created Half a Rice Studios - ours sister brand, had a vision that every wedding day should be captured beautifully and organically. While Half a Rice Studios focuses on the rawness of the wedding day, we want to focus on the dreaminess of it.
In the world of messiness, we want to create the most beautiful photos for your wedding day!
We know that you have put a lot of thoughts and efforts into planning your special day (those nights on Pinterest to look for inspiration, the endless search on Google for the right vendors, or countless hours on instagram to look for the perfect look... Girl, we noticed!). Even the smallest detail, we know you searched through Etsy for days for it. And all of those little details make up your dream wedding day. So... we want you to remember exactly how you envision your wedding day when you look back at your photos 10-20 years later.
We are gifted with the ability to capture images in the best lighting and at the most flattering angle, so you can have a peace of mind that your wedding day is well taken care of and in your wedding albums, there are only the happiest memories.

Tell us about your dreams and looks, about your colors, about your wedding ring - how he just gets you so well... We want to be your friend on the wedding day! We promise to fix your hair when it gets messy, to fluff your veil and your dress when they get bunched up, to let you know that you have lipstick on your teeth... while telling you how to stand to have the best pose.

Hi, I am Jill!
I want to say a big “Thank you!” for caring about your wedding photos enough to check out who we are. I am Jill Goehring – owner and lead photographer of my photography businesses. I started my photography business purely with my passion for photography. A friend of mine asked me to do his wedding when I was in college and I fell in love. I love the emotions, the laughter, the tears, the chemistry between people in weddings.
If I am not at a wedding, editing, or taking care of my photography business, you can find me hiking a mountain or kayaking in a lake with my husband and our son Eddy. We are road trippers and we have been to 33 states of the US and 6 different countries (thankfully not by roads). I am a recycler. I am a sucker for golden retrievers, beautiful Californian sunsets and Colorado mountains. So I love to hear about your next adventures and your pets ☺
All the photos we will deliver to you are in high resolution and already individually edited. So if you like my portfolio and love my editing style, you don’t need the raw files. They only make your computer run slower as they are super heavy ;)
